Proposals Invited for Strengthening Governmental Capacities on Climate Resilience in the South Oropouche River Basin (SORB)

We are seeking proposals for activity 5.1.1 from consulting firms to strengthen the capacities of governmental institutions in the South Oropouche River Basin (SORB), Trinidad & Tobago. The goal is to enhance institutional resilience to climate-related risks, including flooding, drought, sea-level rise, and saltwater intrusion.

The selected firm will be required to develop and deliver training materials and virtual workshops, with an emphasis on gender-responsive approaches and participatory learning methods.

Proposals invited for Mainstreaming Climate Change in Primary and Secondary School Classes in the South Oropouche River Basin (SORB)

We are seeking proposals for activity 5.1.2 from consulting firms to support the integration of climate change into primary and secondary school education in the South Oropouche River Basin (SORB), Trinidad & Tobago. The contracted firm will be responsible for developing training and pedagogical resources, delivering online training sessions and teacher workshops, producing instructional videos, and creating student resources. All materials should integrate climate change and gender considerations and align with national education standards.
